As far as I understand, Vaseline is mostly petroleum jelly, which is an occlusive, meaning that it helps to lock moisture into your skin, but it doesn't actually add any moisture into your skin itself. I prefer Lanolips Original Lip-something. It’s in a stick like lipstick and it’s in a pink tube. It was a life saver when i developed a weird lip allergy.
